These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SliceWin mobile application, our website (slicewin.com), and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by SliceWin ("SliceWin", "we", "our", or "us").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- "Service": the SliceWin mobile application, website, and all related features.
- "Account": the personal account you create to access the Service.
- "Community": a group organized on the Service (e.g., a club, a league, an informal group of players).
- "Owner": the person who creates and administers a Community.
- "SliceWin Pro": our optional premium subscription tier.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Account Registration
To use most features of the Service, you must create an Account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Keep your Account credentials secure and confidential.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your Account.
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account.
You may sign in using your email, Google account, or Apple account. Each method is subject to the respective provider's terms of service.
4. Description of the Service
SliceWin is a community sports platform that allows users to organize matches, run tournaments, track rankings, manage communities and clubs, and (where enabled) book courts and process payments. The Service supports padel, tennis, and pickleball.
Features available to you depend on your Account type, your Community's configuration, and whether you or your Community subscribes to SliceWin Pro.
5. SliceWin Pro Subscription
5.1 Products
SliceWin Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks premium features for the Community it is associated with. Available plans:
- SliceWin Pro Monthly — billed monthly.
- SliceWin Pro Annual — billed yearly.
The exact price and currency for your region are set by the App Store or Google Play and will be displayed on the paywall before you confirm the subscription.
5.2 Free Trial
A 30-day free trial may be offered on the SliceWin Pro Monthly subscription for first-time subscribers only. During the trial, you have full access to Pro features. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
5.3 Auto-Renewal
Your SliceWin Pro subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the same price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
5.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play account settings:
- iOS: Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions → SliceWin Pro → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → SliceWin Pro → Cancel Subscription.
Deleting the SliceWin app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the App Store or Google Play as described above.
If you cancel, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
5.5 Refunds
Refunds are handled directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) according to their respective refund policies. We do not issue refunds directly.

5.6 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. If a price change affects your current subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the subscription after the price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price. You may cancel your subscription at any time if you do not agree with a price change.
5.7 Association with a Community
Each SliceWin Pro subscription is associated with one specific Community selected at the time of purchase. The subscribed Community gains access to Pro features. Only the Owner of a Community may purchase SliceWin Pro for that Community.
6. Court Booking (where enabled)
Certain Communities enable court booking through the Service. Bookings are subject to the individual Community's booking policies (deposit amounts, cancellation windows, no-show fees). These policies are set by the Community Owner and are displayed to you before confirming a booking.
Where payment is processed as part of a booking, it is handled by third-party payment processors. Payment terms and processor details are disclosed at the time of booking. Payment disputes should be raised first with the Community Owner and, if unresolved, with the applicable payment processor.
7. Community Ownership and Responsibility
If you create or administer a Community:
- You are responsible for content posted within your Community, including tournament information, announcements, and member communications.
- You are responsible for compliance with local laws regarding events, payments, and personal data of your members.
- You represent that you have the authority to create the Community and manage its members.
- Sending announcements to members must comply with applicable spam and consumer protection laws.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation.
- Post or transmit content that is offensive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it.
- Manipulate rankings, match results, or tournament outcomes.
- Use the announcements feature to send unsolicited commercial messages or spam.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you post on the Service (community descriptions, profile photos, match notes, etc.). By posting content, you grant SliceWin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post and represent that you have all necessary rights to it.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, functionality, code, logos, and content provided by SliceWin, is owned by SliceWin and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
The names "SliceWin," "SliceWin Pro," and associated logos are trademarks of SliceWin. You may not use them without prior written permission.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services (including Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google, and additional payment processors where court booking with payment is enabled). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. SliceWin is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party service providers.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SliceWin disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SliceWin, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to SliceWin in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €50.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g., gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by our negligence).
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SliceWin from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third-party rights.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your Account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account).
We may suspend or terminate your Account and access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. In cases of serious violations, we may terminate without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will remain in effect.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts of France, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that grant you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
18. Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights that cannot be waived by agreement. You may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SliceWin regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
