Create Your Community
The core of SliceWin is the Community. This is the private, central hub for your group of players. Getting started takes less than a minute.
How to configure your hub:
- Activity Type: Choose from Padel, Tennis, Pickleball, Badminton, Table Tennis, or create a Custom Activity (like Foosball or Cards).
- Format Support: Does your group play 1v1 Singles, 2v2 Doubles, or both? SliceWin will automatically generate the corresponding leaderboards based on your choice.
- Customization: Add a custom banner, description, and an optional password to keep your community entirely private.
Add Your Players
Once your community is created, it's time to invite players. We built SliceWin so that no one is forced to download the app if they don't want to.
Flexible Player Management:
- Self-Serve (App Users): Generate a unique invite link and share it via WhatsApp or Telegram. Players join instantly and can self-report their scores.
- Manual Creation (No App Required): Admins can manually create "Unregistered" players. These players appear on the leaderboard and can participate in tournaments.
- Profile Claiming: If an unregistered player decides to download the app later, they can "claim" their profile and inherit their entire match history automatically!
Track Matches & Elo Rankings
Forget basic win/loss ratios. SliceWin uses a dynamic Elo System. Beating a higher-ranked player gives you a massive point boost, while beating a lower-ranked player gives you a small incremental increase. It completely prevents "stat padding."
Reporting & Validation:
- Separate Rankings: A great singles player isn't always a great doubles player! If your community supports both, SliceWin maintains two entirely separate Elo leaderboards.
- Self-Reporting & Validation: Players can enter their own match scores. To prevent cheating, the match remains "Pending" until the opponent taps "Validate".
- Admin Override: Admins can bypass validation entirely and input scores for anyone (perfect for members who don't use the app).
Run Quick Tournaments
Want to spice up your weekend session? Community Admins can instantly spin up fully automated single-day tournaments right inside the app.
Tournament Formats:
- Round Robin: The classic pool-play format for Singles or Fixed-Team Doubles.
- Swiss / Mexicano: A highly competitive format where the draw adjusts automatically after every round. Winners play winners, losers play losers. Available for Singles, Fixed-Team Doubles, or Rotating Partner Doubles!
- The Best Part: You can configure the tournament so that every match played automatically updates your global Community Elo Rankings!
Launch Long-Term Leagues
If you want to keep your community engaged over a longer period, you can configure your Round Robin events to run as a League.
How Leagues work:
- Configurable Periods: Set your league to run for a week, a month, or a whole season.
- Flexible Scheduling: The app generates all the necessary matchups. Players then use the app to self-schedule their games at a time that works for them.
- Continuous Standings: The League gets its own dedicated standings board. As players finish their scheduled games, both the League Standings AND the global Community Elo are updated simultaneously.
